07 9 月 SingAlliance Switzerland Welcomes Thomas Vogel as New CEO
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Thomas Vogel as the new CEO of SingAlliance (Switzerland) SA. With over three decades of experience in private banking and wealth management, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company. Under Thomas’ leadership, we are confident that SingAlliance (Switzerland) SA will continue to flourish and reach new heights.
Thomas began his career at Swiss Bank Corporation in 1988, where he initially served as an organisational project manager before assuming the role of Head of Management Support for retail banking. In 1997, Thomas joined Bank Edouard Constant & Co Ltd. as a project manager in the EAM department.
Between 2000 and 2011, Thomas held key roles at Bank Julius Baer, initially as the Head of EAM Relationship Managers in Geneva and later, relocating to Singapore to head and develop the Private Banking International department. He returned to Switzerland in 2011 to focus on the Sub-Saharan African market.
In 2013, Thomas joined UBS to establish and head the Representative Office in Lagos, Nigeria, while also serving in the UBS Africa Management Committee. In 2016, he returned to Switzerland and served on the board of directors of Afriland First Group SA, a Swiss-based holding company of Afriland First Bank that operates across multiple African countries, particularly Cameroon. During this time, he founded AVES Consulting to oversee and manage projects between Switzerland and Africa.
Thomas pursued his education at the University of Basel, where he studied Economics and Political Science. Additionally, he holds a Federal License in Organisation in Switzerland.
